Programme Note:
Ondeh-Ondeh is a traditional Malay children’s song, inspired by the sweet dessert of the same name, glutinous rice balls coated in coconut, with soft palm sugar inside that bursts when eaten. The song is simple and playful, but it also carries a gentle message of love.
This wind band arrangement brings the melody to life with lively rhythms and bright harmonies, keeping the cheerful and joyful spirit of the song.
