How to make barefoot trimming simple ?
Well, how would you take care of your dog's feet ? Or even easier, your own feet? Would you cut into your sole and heel with a sharp knife ?
No, you would let your pads develop and adapt to the surfaces you're walking on, and how much you're walking on these surfaces. You do this every spring or summer without even thinking about it, once you start going around barefoot. Little by little, you grow the foot that you will need to cope with hard and dry surfaces.
Now, like everyone else, you regularly keep your nails short, clean and even.
Well it's the same for horses!
