Making A Labradorite and Tourmaline Pendant: A Silversmithing Tutorial

Описание: This video tutorial shows how to create a nice Sterling Silver and gemstone Pendant in a retro style. In this one I set a small blue Tourmaline (technically Indicolite), and a lovely Labradorite. The materials I used were: 10 gauge sterling square wire, 12 gauge sterling square wire, 26 gauge sterling sheet, 18 gauge sterling sheet, 12 gauge sterling half-round wire, and 3/16 inch fine silver bezel strip in 28 gauge, hard silver solder, and My-T-Flux. This one involves some cold forging as well as mounting a hidden bail. This is an intermediate project. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others, as I've taught people for most of my life. This hobby turned into a fun side gig for me for years while I taught public school. I love suggestions and hearing about others' experiences. What is your favorite project?
