Michelle uses Signalong to sign key words to the song "Love me Like you Do" by Ellie Goulding. Only some words are shown in sign. This video was made after a few music sessions in homes where various songs were played, and clients were observed for their responses and reactions, and given the choice of which new song to create for Valentine's Day 2026.
This video has not been made for profit, but for the enjoyment of our service users in Dalesview Partnership. and to model using signs and gestures alongside spoken language to our wide staff team.
Using signs and gestures, body language and facial expressions alongside spoken language greatly improves communication. Staff are encouraged to use a total communication system when supporting service users. Watching and enjoying this video can help to learn key signs to use in their work.
