DevOps Project: CI/CD with Docker, GitHub Actions & AWS EKS (Node.js App Deployment Demo)

Описание: In this video, I’m showcasing a DevOps workflow I implemented from scratch — deploying my Dockerized Node.js + TypeScript app on AWS EKS with a full CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions.

🛠️ What I did:

Dockerized a Node.js + TypeScript backend

Set up an AWS EKS Kubernetes cluster with t2.micro nodes

Wrote Kubernetes manifests for Deployment and LoadBalancer Service

Built a GitHub Actions workflow that:

Builds and tags Docker images with commit SHA

Pushes them to Docker Hub

Updates the running deployment automatically

Verified it with a real-time rollout of the updated API response

🎯 Why I built this:
To understand the end-to-end DevOps flow — from code to container to cloud — and demonstrate how automation helps streamline deployment in real-world scenarios.

Use of Helm for better config management

Monitoring with Prometheus + Grafana

Auto-scaling and improved node configurations

GitOps with ArgoCD
