Hello all, this is a mid-February tour of my front garden, to show you my winter blooming flower bulbs bringing a rainbow of colours in full winter!!! The tour starts with the gorgeous intense purple colour of Crocus vernus "Flower Record", continuing with the pure white of the snowdrops Galanthus nivalis, the bright yellow of Narcissus "January" , also called "Rijnveld's Early Sensation" (still blooming in February), the striking red of the tulip "Scarlet Baby" (not Red Riding Hood, as I incorrectly say in the video, apologies for the confusion), the delicate lilac-lavander of Crocus tommasinianus "Ruby Giant", ending in the shades of blue of Iris reticulata "Harmony" and the dark purple of Iris reticulata "George". All these plants are hardy in USDA zones 7, 8 and 9 (and some also at lower USDA zones, but might bloom later in these colder areas).
In today's video I am not talking about the cultivation of these plants because I covered it already in my previous videos (links are down below in the description), however, of course, if you have any questions, I will be very happy to reply as usual.
