Il nuovo video di Davide Pettirossi, sempre alla ricerca di nuovi viaggi musicali.

Lo Spazio come frontiera e come “non-luogo”, è da sempre un riferimento per Davide fin dal suo album d’esordio nel 1998, “Grandi Spazi”.

I “buchi neri” rappresentano il confine e mistero massimi dell’attuale fronte scientifico.

La Fisica Quantistica, insieme alla Relatività, offrono una vastità di interpretazioni da lasciare il campo aperto ad un tale ventaglio di possibilità che fantasia ed ispirazione non sono mai a riposo.

Analogamente a quanto potrebbe spiegare la scienza, allo stato attuale, così la Musica ed il batterismo di Davide tentano di fare in campo Artistico.

Simulare mutazioni dell’attuale condizione delle cose ad “altro”, così come avviene in questi giganti stellari, è quello che Davide esprime in “Sub-Atomic Laws” (Leggi Sub-Atomiche) dove, come parallelismo musicale, figure ritmiche consolidate e sezioni armoniche “emigrate” da altre aree musicali si “fondono e mutano”, così da assumere nuove forme, nuovi significati.

Il tutto però unito in un percorso costante, evolvente, che “allunga” lo spunto iniziale, lo distorce all’occorrenza ma non lo interrompe o segmenta mai.

Ad evidenziare, semmai ce ne fosse bisogno, la naturale “urgenza espressiva” di Davide c’è la fusione ne-la e per-la Musica con le più recenti e segnanti tecniche batteristiche, così da avere sempre ben presente la perfetta ed intenzionale integrazione del lato “performante” con quello “progettuale” di Davide.

Davide Pettirossi's new video, always looking for new musical journeys.

Space as a frontier and as a "non-place" has always been a reference for Davide since his debut album in 1998, "Grandi Spazi".

The "black holes" represent the maximum boundary and mystery of the current scientific front.

Quantum Physics, together with Relativity, offers a vast range of interpretations to leave the field open to such a range of possibilities that fantasy and inspiration are never at rest.

Similarly to what science could explain at present, so Davide's music and drumming try to do in the artistic field.

Simulating mutations of the current condition of things to "other", as happens in these stellar giants, is what Davide expresses in "Sub-Atomic Laws" where, as musical parallelism, consolidated rhythmic figures and sections harmonics "emigrated" from other musical areas "merge and change", so as to take on new forms, new meanings.

All this, however, united in a constant, evolving path, which "lengthens" the initial idea, distorts it if necessary but never interrupts or segments it.

To highlight, if needed, the natural "expressive urgency" of Davide is the fusion in-and-for the Music with the most recent and important drumming techniques, to always keep in mind the perfect and intentional integration of the "performing" side with the "design" side of Davide.
