After the match the view shifts to Victor’s Chapel and it is more brightly lit. Victor sits on his knees before a podium that has the WWE World Championship on it and he slowly stands up and circles around the podium until he his behind it looking out at the empty seating area. He then looks down and smiles to himself and begins clapping and then suddenly stops. He holds his hands closed for a moment before opening them up and resting them on the podium.

“I must commend you, Samuel Tarek. You chose to save the man I intended to sacrifice. You put the wellbeing of a stranger before that of asserting your dominance! Perhaps there is more to you than I had originally given credit for… Perhaps you are different.” Victor says as he smiles, but shortly after his smile fades and he shakes his head.

“If only it were so easy… I still remember the young man you used to be and perhaps even today that part of you still dwells within. Afterall what is ‘The Sovereign’ if not a more refined version of ‘The Tarek Jackal’. One evokes power, regality, individuality while the other suggests a hunter, a predator, a beast vying for control of a habitat. To go from one to the other suggests an evolution of sorts, but evolution is a constant! So I ask who was Samuel Tarek before The Sovereign, before The Jackal?” Victor says as he caresses the title.

“He was the other half of The Pure Bloodline… If Jasmine was ‘The Scorpion Empress’ then Samuel was and forever will be known as ‘The Scorpion King’. An Empress and a King… Even at your apex, you viewed yourself as less than another. You allowed Jasmine to assert her authority as a higher authority than your own. Why was that? Why did you accept being beneath another? I watched your internal decay, your surrender to debauchery, lethargy, and eventually even the demise of any sense of pride you had in yourself. The months that followed had you wondering without purpose until you rekindled something resembling it.” Victor says as he holds his hand out.

“You saw what James Reynix had done. You knew what was coming and yet, you allowed it to happen! You allowed the suffering of your loved ones, Damon, Jasmine, Zharina, and even Jason. You have the gift of foresight, yet you do nothing with it! I ask you, do you get a sense of guilt when you think about what you allowed to happen and yet are seen as a savior of sorts when you had returned? Was it all part of your plan? Create the problem you intended to present yourself as the solution to? Is that how The King devolved into a Jackal to then become Sovereign? Have you been evolving or mutating?” Victor asks as he then taps his head.

“When you saved Mahler, old instincts were kicking in. You saved Mahler in order to convince yourself that you’re still the solution to the problems. In the end, you didn’t save the life of another because it was the right thing to do, you did it to convince yourself that you’re not the things I’ve been accusing you of. But none the less your mercy overcame your wrath! And that, Samuel, means you’re listening. It means my words are piercing through and entering into here.” Victor says as he taps his head a few more times and smiles.

“Soon the final bell will toll… And we will see which of your three identities is the real you, Samuel. Be warned… The closer we get to The feast… The hungrier I become.” Victor says as he smiles and the camera fades to black.
