In this video, we bake simple corn cookies on a tray over a traditional village tannour (clay oven fire). The dough is made with corn, a little sugar, and warm water — very easy and rustic, just like old village cooking.

Alongside the cookies, we also boil fresh corn, divide it into portions, and store it in salted water so it’s ready to use anytime we want.
