1. TIL CHIKKI (Til Gur Ki Chikki):
• White sesame seeds (Til) – 1 cup
• Roasted peanuts (Mungfali) – ½ cup, crushed
• Desiccated coconut powder – ½ cup
• Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp
For Jaggery Syrup:
• Ghee – 1 tbsp
• Jaggery (Gur) – 1 cup (powdered or chopped)
• Water – 2 tbsp
• Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp
2. MUNGPHALI CHIKKI (Peanut Chikki):
• Peanuts (Mungfali) – 250 g (1½–2 cups)
• Jaggery (Gur) – 200 g (about 1 cup, chopped)
• Ghee – 25 g (2 tbsp)
Optional:
• Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp
• Salt – a pinch

📌 STEP-BY-STEP METHOD:
Part 1: TIL CHIKKI (Til Gur Ki Chikki)
1️⃣ Dry roast sesame seeds on low flame till golden & popping. [web:303][web:306]
2️⃣ Add roasted peanuts, coconut powder & cardamom. Mix well. Keep aside.
3️⃣ In another pan, heat ghee. Add jaggery & water. [web:303]
4️⃣ Cook on medium flame till jaggery melts & reaches soft ball stage. [web:303]
5️⃣ Test: Drop syrup in cold water. If it forms a soft ball, it’s ready.
6️⃣ Turn off flame. Add dry mixture. Mix quickly & well.
7️⃣ Grease a tray/plate with ghee. Pour mixture & spread evenly.
8️⃣ Cut into squares while hot. Cool completely.
9️⃣ Store in airtight container for 2–3 weeks.
Part 2: MUNGPHALI CHIKKI (Peanut Chikki)
1️⃣ Roast peanuts in a pan till golden & aromatic. Cool & remove skins. [web:307]
2️⃣ Crush peanuts coarsely (not too fine).
3️⃣ In a pan, add jaggery & ½ cup water. Cook on medium flame till thick syrup. [web:307]
4️⃣ Test: Drop syrup in cold water. If it hardens & snaps, it’s ready.
5️⃣ Add ghee & mix well.
6️⃣ Add roasted peanuts. Mix quickly & well.
