I've just broken up for the holidays and even though I've got tons of revision to do, I promise I'll make as many DS videos as I can, of course including one huge tribute (seasons 1 -6)!

My thoughts on the finale:
The wedding was absolutely perfect, I'm in love with the bit of Dan walking towards the stairs, where at first he's all nervous then he starts smiling and he looks so happy, it's perfect.
I gotta admit I wasn't trying to get all excited about the wedding, because honestly I was sceptical. But I couldn't be happier it happened! It was such a perfect scene, I love it so much! Who doesn't love to see thier OTP get married?
I'm not allowing myself to complain because the only thing I ever asked for was that Dan and Serena would end up together, so I feel like if I were to complain about anything it would be betraying that...I know it's weird, but anyway. I just have to say, I was dissapointed that there wasn't a kiss..but yeah they got married so what more can I ask for.
On Dan being GG...it's quite funny because before the episode I was literally praying it wouldn't be him, I'd be like "ANYONE BUT DAN!" and then it was him, and they managed to really turn it around. At first we all thought Dan being Gossip Girl would ruin Derena, but it actually made them more epic! They made it so that Dan became GG in order for him to be with Serena, like Serena said it was a love letter to her. It's kind of a weird way of doing it, but like he said he couldn't be with her until he became one of them, and that's obviously what his first chapter about her was about...

Anyway, enough rambling..
