For the opening ceremony of the Belgian presidency of the European Union, Alice Events & ACT lighting design created a spectacular show in Europe's capital on the 3rd of July 2010.
The European Parliament, the esplanade surrounding it and Place Luxembourg served as setting of the spectacle. The lighting design consisted in the mise en lumière in several layers of the unique architecture of the buildings, scenery, integrated stage and live artistic performances. Thanks to the perfect blend of lighting design, video projections and stunning fireworks, a visual treat & great result was obtained for both audiences, live & TV broadcast.
