How do carrots get down into the ground?
40 years ago, I was told that they need loose soil, loamy and of PH 6.8. It was made to sound difficult and precise to grow them.
However, with no dig it turns out you can grow them easily in almost any soil, even clay. Whatever anyone else might say, I know this from experience. Maybe they're not so long, but you get a good and tasty harvest.
