Описание: Tell us a little bit about yourself, how long have you been foiling and where are you from? My name is lance pirie. i am 34 years old from the Gold coast, Australia. Previously a surfer converted to full time foiler for the last 3 years.
What sparked your interest in Foiling? the main reason would be to try and escape the crowds . growing up on the gold coast most spots are super busy so jumping on the foil has allowed me to find less crowded spots that might not be great to surf but are perfect for the foil. that to me has been a huge advantage for foiling 
What was the learning curve like and if you could give one PRO tip what would it be ? i found the learning process quite tricky at first as i didn't get any lessons but once i understood how the foil worked it all fell into place reasonably quick.i think the best thing to do when learning is to get lessons from a professional. easy starter setups will make the learning process much quicker. learning behind a boat or jetski in flat water is in my opinion the easiest way to get flying.
What is your go to KT setup and why ? this is a hard one for me as there is a few setups i really like but i think id have to say the 77 carbon mast , 63 fuse , 700 nomad , 155 tail. after months of riding this i still get to the sand at the end of a session and just smile from ear to ear. this works perfectly in the surf for me it rolls amazing has a great range and drives through tip breaches like nothing else i've ever ridden. its a stable foil has a ton of early lift and i think its my favorite foil of all time.
Tell us about which type of foiling you’re most into, what’s a standard session out foiling for you? mainly a prone surf foiler.my goal is to foil like i used to ride a surf board and i feel that kt has really helped that progression. i also ride a foil drive for downwinding and days that are a little bit small or messy. 
What is your next foiling adventure ?i am going to indo next year and hoping to get fun waves in lombok bali and sumba
