Genya overhears two demon slayers saying rude things about him. Genya doesn't want to confront them because he knows what they say is true. Or so he thinks it is. Muichiro doesn't hear what they say about him, but he sees them talking instead of training. He asks the slayers why they are talking instead of training. After they basically insult Genya, Muichiro gets extremely defensive. He doesn't like it when people talk bad about Genya. After Muichiro sends the two away to train, he goes up to Genya and slaps him on the back of his head. He tells Genya that he needs to stand up for himself. Muichiro then comforts and reassures Genya by telling him that he's talented. The two then share a sweet moment together in each other's arms. Genya wants to tell Muichiro that he loves him, but he's still too nervous.
