In today's Life Guardians Squad mission, we entered deep wolf territory to find an Alpha Male Timber Wolf caught in a deadly wire snare. The rusted cable had tightened around his leg, cutting off circulation. He was furious, terrified, and fighting for his life.
But the rescue was complicated. His entire pack was circling us from the trees, growling and protecting their leader. We had to perform a dangerous high-speed extraction: restrain the Alpha, cut the steel cable, and retreat before the pack turned on us.
