Justice G. Chandraiah is a retired judge who served as a judge in the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh
He retired on May 9, 2016, after attaining the age of superannuation
He has also served as the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission
In December 2019, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Telangana State Human Rights Commission
He has also served as the Hon'ble Chairman of the High Court Legal Services Committee
