Описание: Icchey Gaon or Ecche Gaon is located at an altitude of 5800 feet from sea level in the hills of Kalimpong district in the Indian State of West Bengal. This marvelous hill top village offers a spectacular view of Mount Kanchanjangha. Ichhe gaon, which means “ top “ in the local Lapcha language is the topmost point of this area. The lash green forest of the valley is made up by woodlands of Birch , Juniper , Pine and other trees. Few very rare orchids and colorful and bright canopy of Rhododendron is a visual pleasure for the travelers . This small hamlet is located just 17 KM from Kalingpong, 7 km from Pedong . Kalimpong is just 65 KM from Siliguri. The virgin village houses approximate 30 families who offers home stays for the visitors. You can enjoy the nature of your very own in this place. The accommodation is offered in the form of home stay by the local very simple villagers.
