For Loire is a document of a strange, solitary period spent in residency at Maison Julien Gracq, by the Loire River in Saint-Florent-le-Vieil, France. I was alone, recording every day, walking along the river, absorbing the landscape and the quiet weight of solitude. The song emerged naturally, shaped by the pressure of the times, emotional wreckage, and the echoes of failed structures. These are remnants of that moment, left untouched, exactly as they arrived.
