Описание: On our annual holiday this year we were joined by our daughter, Holly, with her friend, Jazz and Jazz's daughter, Lexi.
Admittedly, I must admit I was expecting more from that area of Spain, being a popular destination for UK tourists, however I was a little disappointed.
Beutiful country and beautiful weather, apart from one day of rain (the very first time we've ever had rain during a holiday - we've been lucky!).
For us, though, there was little to do. We're quite adventurous and like to take part in excursions and activities and we had to go hunting a lot to find anything. On previous holidays everything is being shoved in our faces throughout every day, here we had to go looking for anything.
Colette & Holly managed to go parasailing (Holly's first time, and she loved it!) and we managed to find a boat trip to see dolphins.
The rest of the time we spent sunbathing or making our own amusement.
The one thing I did notice was the whole area was full of the older generation (over 70's), with many in the 80's and 90's and they don't tend to have a lot of get up and go (although some do), this may be why the area is mostly devoid of activities.
Perhaps I am being a little too cinical here, however, it was not all that hoped for in a holiday, however, we still had some great fun.
Would I go back? I'm not sure. Perhaps I'll do a bit more research on the tourists areas and maybe choose a different location next time.
Still, it was lovely to get away and, as I always say, it's what where you are or what you're doing, it's the company you keep that can make it special.
Spending time with Colette is precious to me and to have Holly along was a bonus (she has a great sense of humour, I have no idea where she gets it from - honest!!!
