"Metsätanssi"
This is a short and virtuosic piece for solo cello in ABA form. Inspired by baroque dance movements, this piece in 9/8 time is similar to a gigue. It explores a rhythmic motiv through different scales and tonalities. The middle movement provides contrasting lines with long notes.
