Stitching words onto cloth

Описание: Stitching words onto my cloth freehand using a paper template for guidance.

Using hand stitching and precious scraps of cloth, create a Slowstitch coverlet with me through the year, suitable for absolute beginners and more experienced stitchers. A journal cloth, for and about yourself. We will create a section each month andeehand join as we go. The projects can also be used individually so don't worry if you join us late. There will be weekly videos every Wednesday at 3pm GMT.
For the month of July, the theme is Your Place in the Family of Things inspired by the Mary Oliver poem, Wild Geese.

Learn how to make a folded patchwork technique, inspired by the traditional Orange Peel Quilt block. A simple but effective hand stitched 'quilt as you go' project great for making bags, pouches, quilts, cushions, etc. Beginner friendly.
