In today’s project I’m showing you how to “color” with glitter using double-sided tape instead of glue, paint, or resin. I cut my design out with my Cricut Maker, laid down double-sided tape as the base, and then filled each section with the glitter colors of my choice. It’s a simple, mess-controlled way to get bright, bold sparkle without flooding your project with wet adhesive.

After applying the glitter, I lightly sprayed hairspray over the top to try to seal everything in. I’ll be honest, I’m still testing whether that step is actually necessary or if the double-sided tape alone holds strong enough. In this video you’ll see the full process, the finished result, and my real-time thoughts on what worked and what I’d tweak next time.

This technique is great for cards, signs, cake toppers, stickers, and layered Cricut projects where you want clean glitter sections without clumps. If you love sparkle but hate sticky mess, this method is worth trying.
