Crash Expert Disputes Accuracy of Karen Read's Lexus Collision Reenactment

Daniel Wolfe, ARCCA's director of accident reconstruction, began testifying this morning (Friday, June 6, day 28) in direct-examination from Read's lawyer Alan Jackson.

Wolfe testified in Read's first trial that damage to her Lexus SUV, which is the alleged murder weapon, was inconsistent with a collision with John O'Keefe.

Prosecutors say Read was drunk when she struck her boyfriend, Boston Police Department Officer John O'Keefe, with her SUV outside Boston Police Department Detective Brian Albert's home early on Jan. 29, 2022, and drove away. Read's defense is that Albert and Brian Higgins, a federal ATF agent, killed O'Keefe and she's being framed as part of a broad Massachusetts law enforcement conspiracy
