I’m a bit frustrated today, so it will be interesting to see how this encouragement turns out… haha! As I sit down to write these, you all know by now, I am writing from what I am currently experiencing. You all get a front row seat into all the things I am currently thinking about and working through. Today has been difficult as I find myself being “set off” very quickly because of small (and stupid) reasons. And It’s difficult to work through that because when you’re mad, you just want to be mad. You want the world to feel your wrath. You want people to be aware and if you are unhappy then everyone should be unhappy (sound familiar?) Anyways. I am actively resisting that mentality and it has helped me to take a step back, breath and not sin in my anger. You see anger is okay! There is even a righteous anger! But we are called to not Sin in our anger. Eph 4:26. So if you find yourself in a similar situation where everything is testing you and frustrating you, consider creating some space, talking to God about those feelings and doing what you have to do to make sure you do not let that anger lead you to sin, but rather lead you to prayer, peace and forgiveness. That’s what I’m trying to do right now! We are in this together…
