The amount of time children spend staring at screens has increased in the last 20 years according to a new report by Childwise.
On average, young children aged 5-16 spend up to six hours a day in front of computer, tablet or mobile phone screen. This has risen from an average of three hours from 1995, when such devices were much less commonplace in the average household.
