Описание: Odisha Rain Alert has been issued as a low-pressure system remains active over the Bay of Bengal, with rainfall expected to continue across the state till August 31. A Yellow Warning has been issued for 17 districts for the next 24 hours, with heavy rain forecast from coastal Odisha to western parts of the state. Thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds of around 30 to 40 kmph are also possible in the warned areas. Rough sea conditions have prompted authorities to advise fishermen against venturing into the sea along the Odisha coast. The Regional Meteorological Centre is also monitoring the possibility of another low-pressure system developing toward the end of August.
