"SPARTA" trailer – Russian TV serial on Netflix | season 1 | спарта сезон 1

Описание: This has been sitting in "my list" or collections of Russian series to watch on Netflix for quite some time. But it doesn't have any description or synopsis so I wasn't really sure what it was about. I've made a quick "blurb" at the bottom of this video description in case you are wondering.

I also tried to watch "Fartsa" last year but that was too advanced for me at the time. Maybe because "Fartsa" and "Sparta" have a sort of similar names —well they are short with two syllables and both have the letters "art", contain "s" and both end in anopther "a"— I thought they would be the same. And so originally I wasn't that interested in Sparta. Anyway, despite that, I soon found out that they are completely different from each other.

Then for some reason last night I decided to give it [спарта] another go (because I was a bit bored with the thought of watching yet another kitchen series #7).

I watched like 4 episodes in a row!
I think it's pretty good and it definitely gets you in. The acting is good.

While investigating the mysterious death of a teacher, a grizzled detective gets caught up in the world of a high-stakes virtual reality game.

A detective investigates the death of a local teacher, an apparent suicide. She previously taught a group of gifted students at a special highschool. The detective feels that something is "fishy" about the school and decides to investigate some more. He soon discovers that they're all involved in some weird virtual reality game...
