I don't think the audience knew quite what to expect from the newly formed arrangement between the guy they'd known as the "Huey Lewis/Bruce Springsteen guy", Stu from the Cruisers, and Small who'd been known as the drummer from the alt rock band, Profile, but they BURST into cheers & applause at the end of "James," which still gives me goosebumps, and was amazing redemption after almost not being allowed to play in the show by Mr. Fowler because of the inclusion of DOA in our program.
