Fatshark has started coming out of the holiday hibernation and given us both a community update and a new event! But does it include a roadmap of what we should expect to look forward to for 2026?
2025 was a VERY successful year for Darktide, but a LOT of the content that was actually NEW in the game was focused on paid DLC classes. And we know now that at least one more is on its way for 2026.
Darktide is already monetized a healthy amount, the skins and cosmetics are already significantly more expensive - AND more beautiful and well constructed - than it's closest competitor game Space Marine 2.
There was only one new map for Darktide's main game mode added last year, and the story sat fully idle. What can we expect for 2026? Two more DLC classes? More missions? New enemies? Unless Fatshark provides us with a roadmap, it's going to be anyone's guess until each update is here.
