"Gratitude” [Lyrics]

With tears in my eyes
I witness the end of ramadan
The month of fasting,
A spiritual happening
Leaving the sins behind me
That I’m Regretin
Cleansing my mind body and soul with abstinence
Taking a moment for remembrance
Of the blessings that we are blessed with by Allah swt
getting closer to the practice of the prophet Muhammed pbuh / Salem
In The month of gratitude and patience
to exclude the food
And liquid substance trough daytime
And to be grateful at night by praying the
Tarawi7 until we see the sun coloring the sky with a red line
Let this month be a sign of giving
and forgiving
to start a new chapter in our lives
And to celebrate a new beginning
By forfilling the will of Allah swt
And to accept our prayers
Before we stand in front of him at youm el kiyama
Brothers and sisters in faith
From different religions and traditions
Including Muslims, Jews buddist and Christians
In this month of Piety
Redemption and prosperity
Controlling our thoughts of profanity with our tung, ears and eyes
But not in away of acting like the
Dumb, deaf and blind
Filling our hearts
With the miracle gift
That came upon us
In this holy month by
Reading the holy Quran
And it’s revalation
Continuing our journey
By holding strong to our meditation
Oh sons and daughters of Adam
May peace be upon you
May Allah bless our food and mental condition
And may Allah swt bless us to continue our daily submission

And may Allah swt blesses us to witness the next of Ramadan InshaAllah
