Classes:

Class Structure:
This refers to how classes are organized and defined. The structure includes data (attributes) and functionality (methods) specific to each class, demonstrating what each class represents within the system.

Relationships:
Class diagrams illustrate various relationships between classes, which define how classes interact with or depend on each other. Key relationship types include:

Association: A basic relationship that connects two classes, often labeled with cardinality to show the multiplicity.

Inheritance (Generalization): Represents an "is-a" relationship, showing that one class (subclass) inherits attributes and methods from another (superclass).

Aggregation and Composition: Aggregation is a whole-part relationship where the part can exist independently of the whole, while composition implies a stronger relationship, where the part’s lifecycle depends on the whole.

Dependency: Indicates a "uses-a" relationship, showing that one class temporarily relies on another.

By illustrating these components, class diagrams enable software designers to plan and understand the interactions within a system. They help create a shared understanding between developers, making it easier to manage complexity in large systems and ensure each component aligns with the intended architecture.

Class diagrams are widely used in software engineering for planning, documenting, and communicating the design of object-oriented systems.
