A speeding Lamborghini allegedly driven by Shivam Mishra, son of Uttar Pradesh tobacco businessman KK Mishra, went out of control on Kanpur’s VIP Road near Rev‑3 Mall, ramming into pedestrians, an auto‑rickshaw and a parked bike — injuring at least six people on Sunday afternoon.
Eyewitnesses say the luxury car hit an auto first, then a Royal Enfield motorcycle, flinging its rider nearly 10 feet in the air before crashing into an electric pole. Some injured victims suffered serious leg injuries and fractures, while locals surrounded the scene in shock and panic.
Police have seized the Lamborghini, registered in Northwest Delhi, and filed a case. The incident has drawn widespread public attention due to the high speed, affluent background of the driver and the chaos that ensued.
