The LMB Biophysics Facility houses a wide range of state-of-the-art and in-house built instruments that enable the molecular characterisation of macromolecular size, shape, mass, stability, binding affinity, dynamics and interaction kinetics.

The facility is primarily intended for hands-on research by students, postdocs, and group leaders, who prepare samples and make measurements. Biophysics supports users in advice on experimental techniques and results, training and in collaborative research.

In this video Chris describes the properties of measurement and data; general data fitting; evaluating “goodness of fit”. In the second part of the talk Stephen explains how these concepts are applied to fitting binding curves using a variety of software.
