As we prepare to head to Malawi this Saturday, I wanted you guys to hear more about the trip from people other than just myself. So, I interviewed three of the Mosaic Global team's incredible leaders to show you what all it takes to go on a trip like this, along with what all we do and how it's left each of us changed.

My first interview is with Rachel Kiser. @rrkiser is a BOSS. She's a powerhouse who's filled with wisdom, wit and spunk. She's who any girl would be lucky to become someday.

'I had seen for the first time some really, really difficult situations, more gruesome and sad than I had ever witnessed in my life. And I remember asking God, 'Why do you have me here? I can’t take it.' And I remember hearing Him say, 'Because I want you to see more of what I see'…. Then my next thought was ‘Oh this is how I know you’re God, because you can take it. I see one tiny component of the awful things that happen in this world, you see all of it, and somehow you find it within yourself to continue to love us through all of these choices we’re making. That’s how I know you're god.

'To be able to see more of what He saw was a heart expansion for me.... I have more capacity to love people, I can do more, I can step in more. If that's what this requires, then I’m in.'
