Описание: Green Electric Bus Service has officially been launched in Rahim Yar Khan, marking a major step toward modern, eco-friendly, and affordable public transportation. The inauguration ceremony was held at Abbasiya Complex, where Provincial Ministers Bilal Akbar Khan and Sohaib Bharath formally inaugurated the service.
The event was attended by Commissioner Bahawalpur, Deputy Commissioner Zahir Anwar Jappa, local PML-N leaders, former MPAs, union council representatives, and a large number of media personnel. The project aims to reduce environmental pollution, control traffic congestion, and provide safe, comfortable, and economical travel facilities to citizens.
In the first phase, Green Electric Buses will operate on four major routes connecting urban and rural areas of Rahim Yar Khan, benefiting students, office workers, and daily commuters. This initiative reflects the Punjab Government’s commitment to sustainable development and public welfare.
