Kay Adams Reacts to Scary Broncos Secondary, Sean Payton's Plan to Win the AFC West

Описание: Yesterday I ran through a few of my favorite fits from this Draft…and there’s one I didn’t get to that I wanted to make sure to get in here. And that’s Texas DB Jahdae Barron to the Broncos.
I mean, just look at this secondary now…with Surtain and Moss on the outside…the addition of Hufanga…and now Jahdae as the nickel. This is a thing of beauty. Between the Broncos, the Ravens, and the Texans…it has been an arms race for best secondary in the NFL.

But as for Jahdae, when I talked to him a few months ago, he told me that he wants to use his versatility at the next level – playing in the slot, outside, at safety, as a run stuffer – and Sean Payton said that’s exactly how the Broncos plan on using him. He is going to be a weapon for Vance Joseph…and the cast around him is going to let him shine.
But what stuck with me even more than that was this story he told me about taking the Thorpe Award to OU’s campus.
As you can tell, he won me over right there…and while it might make things a little awkward with Marvin Mims and Nik Bonitto and the 4 other OU guys on the Broncos – THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT FROM YOUR DBs!! I can’t wait to see what he’s going to have in store for Mahomes and Herbert and Geno and all of those amazing AFC West rivalries.

Denver is still a value at +104 to make the playoffs…and the Broncos are +400 to win the AFC West behind both the Chiefs and Chargers.
