This video is a collection of clips taken at different spots around Everett, Washington. Some of the spots are being featured for the first time.
List of spots and trains:
0:00 Broadway(Q-SSECHC): This video was taken from Hewitt Avenue looking at the south signal at Broadway. This is just west of the Everett Tunnel. Sometimes westbound trains can be held at this signal for an eastbound train coming through the tunnel. We see a Q-Train heading east.
2:08 Eclipse Mill Rd(E-RBCSCM): This spot is a grade crossing that provides a view of the SEA Line and the west end of the Lowell Running Track. We see an eastbound empty coal train move from the SEA Line onto the Lowell Running.
8:17 Lowell Riverfront Park(E-RBGSXM): This park views the Snohomish River, but also features a pedestrian bridge that overlooks the east end of the Lowell Siding. This location is sometimes used as a crew change point for eastbound trains. We see an empty coal train head east off the Lowell Running Track while an intermodal sits crewless on the siding.
11:37 Pigeon Creek(C-DKMRBG): Pigeon Creek is a trail that runs from the south end of Bayside Yard, between the BNSF Low-Line and the Port of Everett to a beach next to Everett Jct. Here we see a loaded coal train moving towards Bayside Yard, shot from Pigeon Creek.
16:09 Lombard Ave(Q-SSECHC): This street crosses over the tracks where it is possible to view the west portal of the Everett Tunnel which runs under downtown Everett. We see a Q-Train heading east out of the tunnel.
18:57 Legion Park(C-DKMRBG): From Legion Park, one can get a view of the Puget Sound around Everett, as well as northbound exiting Bayside Yard. Here we see a loaded coal train exiting the yard heading toward Bridge 37.
25:31 Pigeon Creek: Heading back to Pigeon Creek, we see a westbound Z-Train head down the High-Line towards Everett Jct.
27:20 Everett Tunnel: The last shot is from the east side of the Everett Tunnel. This spot is kind of sketchy so I wouldn't recommend anyone stay for long, but if you know a train is close, it's certainly a good shot. Here we see a 9 unit Q-Train exit the tunnel westbound.
Enjoy!
