Hunger Strike Against S.R.A Scam

We Krantiveer Sanghatna and association of 13 Slums in Pune,  have been fighting for our rights against the various illegality and scams conducted by  SLUM REHABILITATION AUTHORITY, PUNE. 

We have have doing a peacefully protest of DHARNA ANDHOLAN from 21 November 2016 and Indefinite  HUNGER STRIKE from 5th Dec 2016. Under the office of Slum Rehabilitation Authority Pune.  After doing DHARNA ANDHOLAN for over 24 days and Hunger Strike for over 5 Days The Chief Executive Officer S. R. A.  Pune gave us a oral commitment to full fill our primary demands and assured us to give us the same in writing by Tuesday 13th Dec 2016 by requesting us to break the Hunger strike on 9th Dec  2016 evening 6:30 pm. But unfortunately the Chief Executive Officer refused to accept and full fill any of our demand and cheated us to break our hunger Strike. 
Aggrieved with the same we have again started  Indefinite Hunger Strike from today morning 15th Dec 2016. We demand strick actions to be taken on the officers found guilty.

Following are the demands.

1) To stop the illegal demolition process without serving show cause notice and without following the due process of law as per Slum Act.

2) To apply the provision of 33(10) As available in the Slum Act for encouraging  societies of slum dwellers to come forward for self development. ( S. R. A PUNE,  has neglected this provision from the information book of S. R. A PUNE which is to favour builder lobby and for corruption) 

3) To first decided the authenticity of 70 % consent submitted by the builder and no further order or notice process should proceed with out taking grevience appeal or eligibility of more then 5% Slum dwellers is pending.

4) To first decide the full and final eligibility of Slum dwellers before taking consent or accepting the proposal of the developer.  ( Various irregularities are seen and huge amount of corruption is taking place as per the manipulation done by the developers to show there 70 % consent,  no grievance appeal are properly entertained against it) 

5) To constitute Independent body for third-party inspection to verify the quality of on going construction.

4) To constitute independent grievance  cell constituting of Honest Retired Judged and one person with a by ground of social activity.

IT IS BEEN OBSERVED THAT THE S. R. A PUNE office dosent have a proper working manual or doesn't follow the working manual as per the provision of slum act and there should be content amendments to protect the rights of slum Dwellers and reduce the illegalities by giving strict punishment to the officers or developers if found guilty.

Humble request to Honble Chef Minister to please kindly ORDER or give directions  to S. R. A PUNE to accept our demand or kindly make amendments or issue circular to make such amendments in S. R. A PUNE.

We assure you to make this Beautifully city Pune into a Slum free smart city with amendments to encourage the slum dwellers to participate for self development.
