The Beast, Ex-Hurricane Ida, flooded the mid-Atlantic states and sent swells crashing into South Florida. Surfers hit the water in Delray Beach. We don't get waves like this very often. One surfer even rides a tube. Shot by Larry Richardson, a local Realtor with Coldwell Banker.
I captured them using a superb Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 digital still camera with video. This is one of the few digital cameras I'm aware of that allows photographers to shoot video using the zoom lens.
