You define a single "input key" that you want to compose in (e.g., C minor), and the patch calculates the difference between that and the project's current global root note. It then instantly transposes all incoming MIDI notes by that amount, allowing you to play in one familiar key while the music automatically follows any key changes throughout your arrangement.
