Embedded systems don’t operate in isolation anymore; they live on the shop floor, inside segmented networks, and often without direct Internet access.
In this live demonstrator, Wibu-Systems shows how secure licensing can be implemented directly in a realistic production environment, even on resource-constrained microcontrollers.
All components are integrated into a compact, mobile case that represents a complete, isolated shopfloor network in miniature: industrial connectivity, firewall separation, an edge-based license server, microcontroller devices, and live access to CodeMeter License Portal.
You’ll see how embedded devices without their own Internet connection and without a TLS stack can still consume licenses securely from local dongles or even from the cloud, with license activation and revocation becoming immediately visible on the devices themselves.
