AIR POWER is the ability to project military power or influence through the control and exploitation of air, space, and cyberspace to achieve specific objectives. A vital capability in any military conflict, the United States Air Force has been providing decisive airpower since 1947, not only defeating enemy forces but also preventing conflict by deterring adversaries through the range, speed, and flexibility airpower provides.
 
Since 1950 The Airmen of Note has been delivering high-powered musical performances executed with incredible precision. Over the past seven decades, the “Note” has performed for millions around the world, sharing the Air Force story through the universal language of music with live performances, broadcast, and recording recordings. The Airmen of Note continues to dazzle audiences with its range, speed, and flexibility. This album, recorded to celebrate the Airmen of Note’s 70th anniversary, presents a collection of songs demonstrating just how the United States Air Force Band projects air power.
