Back in 1987, alternative punk vocalist, activist and spoken word goon Jello Biafra was still amidst being targeted by the PMRC who insisted Biafra and his fellow Dead Kennedys be brought up on obscene material charges. Here we see MTV's New Music program spotlight one of Biafra's many spoken word events, this time at the New Music Seminar on July 14, 1987.
