Bear the Bernedoodle and Ray the Labrador Retriever are both in Week 3 of their Board and Train program at Best Paw Forward Dog Training!
In today’s session, we worked on reactivity training with both dogs together, focusing on calm neutrality, engagement with their handlers, and controlled exposure around another working dog. Training in this type of structured environment helps build impulse control, confidence, and better decision-making when other dogs are nearby.
As they move through their third week, we are raising expectations and applying their skills in more realistic scenarios to prepare them for long-term success at home and in public settings.
