Burned and lifted edge connector traces are a pain in the rear. Operators do all kinds of stupid hacks to these when the power connections burn.
In this video I have a Rally-X boardset in for repairs that has a staple (!!!!) soldered in place as a substitute edge connector trace. I remove that staple and use copper trace tape to repair the board properly.
Sorry for the shaky video. I'm still working on figuring out the camera to use.
