Hello America, I’m Bob Iger, Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company. Tonight, I want to introduce you to our Wonderful World of AI. There is so much happiness in doing the work we do here at Disney.

You may have heard in the news how writers, actors and our theme park cast members are making unrealistic demands: like asking we pay for their housing and food instead of them just making magic for you out of the love they have for the work. There is nothing like the joy of seeing a young Disney guest light up as they see, hear and experience Disney stories for the first time. I can assure you: in Disney's Wonderful World of AI, those cast members are no longer concerns. The magic doesn’t need people to make it happen now.

In the coming weeks and months I hope to share with you the exciting things we here at Disney are working on. We’ll be bringing them right from Walt Disney Company computers, to you.

You might have also heard that television won’t be part of the Disney magic through broadcast or through cable. While that is true, I promise you’re going to be as excited as I am about what The Wonderful World of AI will be, how it can bring you back into your imagination and you’ll want to shake the hand of our engineer who makes it all happen.

I’ve been very disappointed that the people who have performed in and written for the Disney movies and TV shows we all love, now won’t create them purely for the joy of the magic we make here. And the smiles they bring. And so I have good news: we here at Disney are hard at work making our Wonderful World of AI so it can take care of all the work for you.

We are going to immortalize your performances and writing forever. We are, right now, training our machines to make the magic.

Picture this: all of the laughter, dancing and singing you adore (as you hear my voice right now) is training our machines to create more magic. And the best part is that the people who won’t make the magic out of sheer joy alone no longer need to. And they don’t even need to know it is happening. In The Wonderful World of AI, we've got the enchantment covered. We’ll take care of it all with one machine. It’s auto-magical.

So please, sit back, relax and enjoy the upcoming shows and movies inspired by the stories and performances you love about Disney.
