Here are 3 common mistakes holding you back, especially the last one – it's a real gains killer. 💪🚫
1️⃣ Treating calisthenics like it's from another planet 🌌 – Apply the same muscle-building principles as bodybuilding: aim for 10 sets near failure per muscle group each week.
2️⃣ Not choosing the right progression ❌ – If regular push-ups are too easy but one-arm push-ups are too hard, find a middle ground like Archer push-ups for 6-15 reps.
3️⃣ Skimping on rest 😴 – Muscles grow during rest, not just training! Give your muscles at least 48h to recover or until you feel ready to train again
