pt3 spiral garden update plus pond addition plus pond problems

Описание: This is an update to the spiral herb garden build, I added a pond feature with a solar powered pump but ran into other issues even after buying a larger solar panel and higher volume pump ... I will eventually get it done.

when people say ... i never used math after high school ... yea well, then how do you know how many blocks you need to build a spiral? Do you just guess? Or do you use a formula?

R = number of times the spiral ... spirals
D = length of largest outer diameter
d = length of smaller inner diameter

length of first run
L = 3.14 x R x (D+d) ÷ 2

number of blocks you need is length of first run / length of blocks
Height of spiral divided height of blocks tells you how many "runs you need"

each subsequent run after the first one is 1 block less than the previous
RunN = N - 1

An example solution .... for visual appeal, I modified the results slightly
First row = 38 blocks
second row = 37 blocks
third row = 36 blocks
fourth row = 35 blocks
fifth row = 34 blocks
sixth row = 33 blocks
seventh row = 32 blocks
eight row = 31 blocks

Then you add up all the rows to find out how many blocks you need, assuming all blocks are the same size
