AS PER GUIDELINES OF ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA, AND KEEPING IN VIEW OF DELHI LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS, A DRIVE AGAINST ILLICIT LIQUOR, DRUG AND ILLEGAL ARMS IS BEING CONDUCTED: ONE HABITUAL CRIMINALS ARRESTED WITH ILLEGAL WEAPONS AND STOLEN PROPERTY BY AGS, CRIME BRANCH

 01 country-made pistol, 03 live cartridges, and a stolen motorcycle recovered.
 Accused previously involved in 12 cases of Attempt to Murder, Robbery, Snatching and Theft.
INTRODUCTION:
As per guidelines of Election Commission of India, and keeping in view of Delhi legislative Assembly elections, a drive against illicit liquor, drug, and illegal arms and wanted criminal is being conducted. On 22.01.2025, based on confidential information, accused Kallu s/o Dalip was apprehended, he had jumped the bail in attempt to murder (he along with his associates attacked police officials) case of Police Station- Karawal Nagar, Delhi. After grant of bail, he again indulged in criminal activities in Delhi and other states. On his instance, 01 country made pistol, 03 live cartridges and 01 stolen Motor Cycle was recovered. A case under the Arms Act has been registered against him.
INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION:
With the upcoming elections in Delhi, the AGS Crime Branch has been ramping up its efforts to apprehend individuals involved in various criminal activities, including snatching, robbery, and the use of firearms in crimes.
On 21.01.2025, CT Manish Kumar received information from a secret source about a wanted criminal involved in numerous cases including burglaries, snatchings, and robberies, and who had recently acquired illegal firearms for committing crimes.
A raid was planned, a team led by Insp. Pawan Kumar, SI Raja Ram, ASI Ramesh Kumar, HC Amit Kumar, and Ct. Manish Kumar, under the close supervision of Sh. Naresh Kumar ACP/AGS was constituted by undersigned to nab criminals.
The team apprehend accused from Mathura, UP, suspects were identified as Kallu, on verification he was found declared Proclaimed Offender in FIR No.312.2020, date 07.06.2020, u/s 186/ 353/307/411/34 IPC & 25/27/54 Arms Act, PS Karawal Nagar, Delhi. vide order date 30.01.2024 by the Hon’ble Court of Ld. ASJ, North East District.
During further interrogation, on his instance 01 country made pistol, 03 live cartridges and one stolen Motor Cycle Stolen on 26.07.2024 from Rajapuri, Uttam Nagar vide e-Police Station- MVT Theft No.021983.2024 were recovered. The stolen motorcycle and recovered illegal arms were seized, and the necessary legal proceedings were initiated, and case FIR No. 24/2025, dated 22.01.2025, U/s 25 Arms Act at PS Crime Branch, Delhi registered.
PROFILE OF THE ACCUSED:
Kallu is notorious member of BAWARIA GANG and illiterate. From very young he was indulged in criminal activities and started committing crime in multiple states with other associates. He was found involved in 12 cases and further involvement is being verified.
